Didn't notice any battery drain myself. But in the Telegram chat there was some reports - maybe do a clean flash.
The 33W charging was always supported.
Updated to Jun 13 permissions didn't reset this time.
Edit: Just realised some issues for me with this latest version. Apps in landscape mode will cut partially into the status bar and when you transit into recent apps from apps with landscape mode, sometimes apps that were in portrait mode will auto rotate into landscape even when auto-rotate isn't turned on.

Permissions reseting is something that can happen even in vanilla android builds.
Is NOT a bug.
Well I do think if the same thing keeps happening every update and then it stops something could have been changed but that is just me. The problem with landscape mode though, am I the only one experiencing it?

As stated, permissions reset is something that can happend in any Android 12 update (in fact, can also happen in any other Android version). Is not only this ROM, happens in vanilla Android for any other device.
In short, and because i already saw many post about this: permissions reset is not a bug, is not a issue with this ROM and is not itself a major issue at all - most permissions that are actually needed are asked once again when you open the app.
If consider that a bug, then report it to the AOSP of Android 12.1.
Hey guys, I am observing insane battery drain with high temperature and the cpu cores are stuck in high freq. when the phone is idle. This happens suddenly after like one month of usage in most ArrowOS builds.
This is a very annoying bug... and everytime to fix this I have to install the latest ArrowOS build. Then again the bug reappears after some weeks. BTW, I don't play games and do heavy tasking on my phone.

I have tried disabling most of the apps and once i deleted all installed apps except the ones which cannot be uninstalled and the issue still persisted
I believe the issue is kernel related
I had this issue running the QCY app, but it was resolved after I deleted the app. Haven't seen it since

Respect who think differently from you.2Problem is in the framework, and PixelUtils. It will cause any device with Pixel spoofed ROMs to go into a update loop caused by Google Play Services and it's forced System Update, overheating the battery / cpu and draining data. One of the posts in the tread I mentioned has a solution for the problem.
And passing the Safetynet can be done with Magisk modules, framework does not have to be touched. But devs want their ROMs passing Safetynet out-of-the-box.
All devices are affected. Currently, the issue can be found, for example, in Arrow OS 11 and crDroid 11 threads ( as I looked ), and many more just by searching Play Services battery drain on Google. All of them are reported on custom ROMs. Even PixelExperience.
And if devs stop updating their ROMs, well... it'll become very interesting. I had to go through loops just to stop the update spam on my Arrow OS 11 Poxo X3 Pro.2
A wise man would carry an OTG cable and a USB stick that would be used to backup said photos. But, since you trust the cloud, I am not stopping you. Do as you wish, feed Google more data, who cares about privacy, right?!
Also, changing ROM won't help. 99 percent of them are Pixel based. -

Suggested firmware: Any MIUI 12.x to 13.x (S or R) firmware will work; I used MIUI 12.0.4.0, 12.5.3.0 and MIUI 13 for testing.
Instructions
FIRST INSTALL?:
- Remove any fingerprint, PIN, or password in MIUI
- Unlock the bootloader
- Transfer ROM to internal storage
- Install any suitable recovery
- Flash ROM zip file
- Do a data wipe in recovery (format data)
- Reboot to the system, wait and enjoy
- Download via OTA Updater and let it automatically install; OR
- Download an update, transfer to internal/external storage (always check file sha256)
- Reboot to recovery; Flash ROM zip and reboot.

1411.0 -> 12.0 -> 12.1 all are dirty flash, no need to format data

Lawnchair is not compatible properly with 12.1 (aosp did some changes in 12L/12.1 and lawnchair needs to rebase their source to 12.1 quickstep/launcher3 or make it compatible however that's possible otherwise)
The latest update uses MIUI13 blobs and configs, You can use any firmware from MIUI 12.x to 13.x (thanks vendor freeze lol)

One of the most noticeable bugs on 12L (generally, and doesn't surprise) is for gapps users on a clean flash might need to set up fingerprint at setup wizard to avoid crashes (hopefully this gets fixed next ASB)

Latest ArrowOS 12.0 builds were released on 22nd December
Include these notable changes:
- December ASB
- Fix XiaomiParts (Doze, Thermal, Dirac, and ClearSpeaker) not saving user settings after reboot
- Show 4G instead of LTE (due to heavy user requests)
- A bit faster transition animation
- Handle some unneeded logspams
- Misc fixes to XiaomiParts
- Label more wakeup nodes
- Set SSR level to workaround rare carrier/modem crashes etc.

It's not just about satisfaction to an user about more and more rom features, it's about getting things ready, adapting the device sources for newer android version and porting changes from last android release to new one.

March security patches will be delayed, we are just super busy with life as of now and we need to rebase Arrow to newly released android-12.1/12L tags (and google still needs to fix certain issues in this release aswell)
