yeah it works for me but it just happens to crash my system ui from time to time while taking one

Oups, obviously something happened, 10 screenshots...
My (default) camera crashes when I try to open Gallery from within it. It shows the "Enable your Gallery app" popup, then crashes when I select "Open Settings". Is there a way to fix that?
P.S if you're on a recent build the updater will tell you that 07.01.2023 version is out.

I just updated it and I kind of regret it, the camera changed and I liked the previous one from January 2, 2023, any idea of how to go back to that one, unless I really gotta flash it.
Yep, i tried last build and indeed old camera was better, better quality and options, dunno why Kuber or the devs change something that worked so good,it have also black bands on top and bottom and an internal crappy viewer not linked to the gallery anymore.
The only thing i like is that i can finally set the resolution on video and photos, but the gain is too little to justify a change with such a bad quality.
Rolled back to the 03-01 build untill they fix the camera, or at least release a way to overwrite it and restore the one from the previous build.

Yep, pretty much. Is there a way to go back to that update without losing my data?
Unfortunately is not possible, without formata data do no boot and back to recovery, at least in my case.

Solved the camera issue while keep last build:
- unistall Arrow stock camera2 via adb:
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.camera2
- then install camera go from here:
file is 3.8.466520855 (armeabi-v7a, Android 8.0+, nodpi)
- if you use vanilla install google services emulator for gcam (download via telegram)
All done.

crdroid 9.2 , fast, reliable, safety net passes, google certification device passes, unlimited photo storage. good enough for me, i havent tested evolution x which is also highly recomended.2There hasn't been any annoucements of that, I'd be happy even with 1 bigger update / month, most OEMs can't even do that2
Any tests to backup that statement?
Regarding battery life.
IMHO they are all pretty similar after 1-2 weeks of settling down.2Still on 11, as it proved to be the most stable, hassle free and battery efficient rom in the ArrowOS line , maybe will try 12.1 in the future.
Why in the hell would you push yourself to update to a google trainwreck like A13 or A14 is beyond me... peer pressure? Does your willy get bigger by having latest android version?2
Android 13 is objectively better, more streamlined, secure and gives you more control over your device. Just because you don't understand/use the new features doesn't mean the OS is ****. Also it's pretty sad you feel better just because you're using an older OS XDD -

Tip: Select OEM -> Device, choose Arrow version, choose the build type: "GAPPS" or "VANILLA" to download.
Suggested recovery: ArrowOS Recovery - https://sourceforge.net/projects/kubersharma001/files/vayu/ArrowOS-recovery/
Suggested firmware: Any MIUI 12.x to 13.x (S or R) firmware will work; I used MIUI 12.0.4.0, 12.5.3.0 and MIUI 13 for testing.
Instructions
FIRST INSTALL?:
- Remove any fingerprint, PIN, or password in MIUI
- Unlock the bootloader
- Transfer ROM to internal storage
- Install any suitable recovery
- Flash ROM zip file
- Do a data wipe in recovery (format data)
- Reboot to the system, wait and enjoy
- Download via OTA Updater and let it automatically install; OR
- Download an update, transfer to internal/external storage (always check file sha256)
- Reboot to recovery; Flash ROM zip and reboot.

Latest ArrowOS 12.0 builds were released on 22nd December
Include these notable changes:
- December ASB
- Fix XiaomiParts (Doze, Thermal, Dirac, and ClearSpeaker) not saving user settings after reboot
- Show 4G instead of LTE (due to heavy user requests)
- A bit faster transition animation
- Handle some unneeded logspams
- Misc fixes to XiaomiParts
- Label more wakeup nodes
- Set SSR level to workaround rare carrier/modem crashes etc.
- Misc fixes and improvements

Lawnchair is not compatible properly with 12.1 (aosp did some changes in 12L/12.1 and lawnchair needs to rebase their source to 12.1 quickstep/launcher3 or make it compatible however that's possible otherwise)
The latest update uses MIUI13 blobs and configs, You can use any firmware from MIUI 12.x to 13.x (thanks vendor freeze lol)

One of the most noticeable bugs on 12L (generally, and doesn't surprise) is for gapps users on a clean flash might need to set up fingerprint at setup wizard to avoid crashes (hopefully this gets fixed next ASB)

arrow-12.1 released with pputils removed.
arrow-11.0 will soon release with august security patches, 2022 and pputils removed.
New method used to pass Safetynet adds a new prop which is passed as build fp via frameworks hook, those who manually want to change, can change value of:
ro.build.gms_fingerprint in system default props to whatever build fp they like. (will need root/mod/addon/magisk etc - what we set default will always pass safetynet)
