Or simply install a decent gCAM like this one:

Updated to 10/1 wallpaper and style fixed for me and the previous camera app is back and no longer crashes when opening gallery from within.
Hell no.
Solution foundI switched to ArrowOS 13 a few days ago (clean install). Everything is actually going very well, but I can't create a backup under TWRP 3.7.0_12-0.
The backup starts, runs for a short time and then the message createTarFork() process ended with ERROR: 255 Backup Failed appears. Under ArrowOS 12.1 this was not a problem, even the restore ran perfectly.
With Orange Fox i have the same
The second minor issue is that the display won't turn off after 30 seconds. It gradually gets a little darker, but it doesn't turn off completely. Does anyone else know this problem? I use the Nova Launcher...
Status bar items in display settings.anyone knows how to hide nfc icon in status bar? without turning off nfc
That's just for 2-4 days until the ROM settles in... Next week you won't have that problem.
Settles in to what, feel free to explain in detail what happens over 4 days, I'm interested to learn....That's just for 2-4 days until the ROM settles in... Next week you won't have that problem.
There is nothing to explain.
I think it has to do with app optimization, the actual battery consumption might be exactly the same, but system doesn't know how much each app consumes and shows lower battery than it actually is just to be safe. A couple of charging cycles and it should settle. There is nothing to explain.
Out of experience I can tell you that often after Updates battery life seems unexplainably worse for 2-3 days.
But that just vanishes after a while.
I had that exact same thing happen to myself, you can read about it just a few pages back.
First time experiencing this from an update on Arrow, I posted to see if anyone else was having a similar experience, didn't necessarily need the "advice" thanks.I think it has to do with app optimization, the actual battery consumption might be exactly the same, but system doesn't know how much each app consumes and shows lower battery than it actually is just to be safe. Yes, I had the same thing happen to me when I switched to A13 couple a days ago, battery went down fast, it is fine now, I believe I fully charged 3 times since then.First time experiencing this from an update on Arrow, I posted to see if anyone else was having a similar experience, didn't necessarily need the "advice" thanks.
Android 13 is objectively better, more streamlined, secure and gives you more control over your device. Just because you don't understand/use the new features doesn't mean the OS is ****. Also it's pretty sad you feel better just because you're using an older OS XDDStill on 11, as it proved to be the most stable, hassle free and battery efficient rom in the ArrowOS line , maybe will try 12.1 in the future.
Why in the hell would you push yourself to update to a google trainwreck like A13 or A14 is beyond me... peer pressure? Does your willy get bigger by having latest android version?
Any tests to backup that statement?Still on 11, as it proved to be the most stable, hassle free and battery efficient rom in the ArrowOS line ,
