Developer currently on break, but since he deleted basically every social account he had, I doubt he will come back. I will ride ArrowOS until something breaks and then switch to something else. For now, I really recommend this ROM, very stable, fast.
Yes ArrowOS was really good, but everything has to come to an end. I'm on Evolution X 7.6 ROM as of today. So far I am very satisfied. There are many ways to design the Poco.
If Kuber is bored and do not want to continue, understandable, someone else can do, there are many developers in the Arrow team that can take over the Poco rom project.

ArrowOS is not a comercialized brand. They've got no responsibilities.
ArrowOS was not developed for our device. it was simply Ported, because someone that owns the Device decided to do that.
Anyone can take ArrowOS source, merge upstream changes and build the ROM. We've got working kernel and most stuff works, the chance of breaking things is pretty small.
I still hope they didn't abandon the X3 Pro, although if someone changed ROMs and has something to recommend, I'd love to see some suggestions
definitely lineage os is your better option; many custom rom are based on them but it does not pass safety net, it does not has the google certificated device neither the unlimited google photos storage :/

My bad, didn't explain properly, i mean that another Arrow developer can continue the release of the rom monthly. According to the official arrow release page Kuber wasn't the only dude working on the Poco X3. Cross fingers, because i like a lot Arrow, is a minimal rom as i like.

You also have LibreMobileOS, which I used for a while and will definitely get back to if I need to change ROMs.
Although synced with LOS trees it is it's own thing and based off of AOSP. You should definitely check it out. Builds are vanilla, they don't pass safetynet, you need an external fix for that. Currently they're running Android12 but the move to 13 will happen.

I switched to Evolution X 8 days ago and haven't regretted it until now. Everything runs very smoothly and I haven't been able to find any errors so far. Bluetooth etc everything works perfectly. There are so many configuration options that it is not so difficult to leave ArrowOS 13 behind
Still no news from the Arrow team? Other good roms do not have the vanilla version, i will miss Arrow if this is really abandoned. A statement from someone inside the development can be appreciated.

Kuber already left, and deleted all his accounts. Not blaming him obviously, it was a free thankless service he was providing.
I have already migrated to the Xiaomi.EU ROM. It's not terrible, and the camera really is better than AOSP (even with Gcam). Obviously not for everyone but I don't mind it. It was a nice change of pace.
I see, since i prefer vanilla i will go with LineageOS 20.0, atm is unofficial so i will wait a bit more. Unless someone else from the Arrow devs pick up this model.

11I just broke my vayu (I'll have to repair it later, sad) lol
but I realised that:
This phone is getting almost 2 years old and after a lot of hard brick cases, I can't believe my unit survived so long. cheers to all those who were on this journey and are still using it.
New update will come soon, sucks that I won't be able to try it but sources are stable (obv working on them from 2 years now lol) so no issues. enjoy7

Had that issue with my HTC 10. Everyone kept talking about battery barely lasting a day or even worse... and then it got me too.
Sadly there is no new decent phone to jump ship to.
Snapdragon 7gen2+ Seems like a decent SoC, but looks like most manufacturers won't include a MicroSD slot.... but instead just increase the prices by leaps and bounds. YaY
Well ArrowOS is extremely stable and works almost flawless. so let's just hope for the best.... and a security update every 2-3 months3I wanted to say thanks to @K001droid for this fine ROM. Just installed and everything seems to work great!1
It's wise to make a backup of important data, but a dirty flash upgrade works 9/10 times. -

Tip: Select OEM -> Device, choose Arrow version, choose the build type: "GAPPS" or "VANILLA" to download.

Suggested firmware: Any MIUI 12.x to 13.x (S or R) firmware will work; I used MIUI 12.0.4.0, 12.5.3.0 and MIUI 13 for testing.
Instructions
FIRST INSTALL?:
- Remove any fingerprint, PIN, or password in MIUI
- Unlock the bootloader
- Transfer ROM to internal storage
- Install any suitable recovery
- Flash ROM zip file
- Do a data wipe in recovery (format data)
- Reboot to the system, wait and enjoy
- Download via OTA Updater and let it automatically install; OR
- Download an update, transfer to internal/external storage (always check file sha256)
- Reboot to recovery; Flash ROM zip and reboot.

Latest ArrowOS 12.0 builds were released on 22nd December
Include these notable changes:
- December ASB
- Fix XiaomiParts (Doze, Thermal, Dirac, and ClearSpeaker) not saving user settings after reboot
- Show 4G instead of LTE (due to heavy user requests)
- A bit faster transition animation
- Handle some unneeded logspams
- Misc fixes to XiaomiParts
- Label more wakeup nodes
- Set SSR level to workaround rare carrier/modem crashes etc.
- Misc fixes and improvements

Lawnchair is not compatible properly with 12.1 (aosp did some changes in 12L/12.1 and lawnchair needs to rebase their source to 12.1 quickstep/launcher3 or make it compatible however that's possible otherwise)
The latest update uses MIUI13 blobs and configs, You can use any firmware from MIUI 12.x to 13.x (thanks vendor freeze lol)

One of the most noticeable bugs on 12L (generally, and doesn't surprise) is for gapps users on a clean flash might need to set up fingerprint at setup wizard to avoid crashes (hopefully this gets fixed next ASB)

arrow-12.1 released with pputils removed.
arrow-11.0 will soon release with august security patches, 2022 and pputils removed.
New method used to pass Safetynet adds a new prop which is passed as build fp via frameworks hook, those who manually want to change, can change value of:
ro.build.gms_fingerprint in system default props to whatever build fp they like. (will need root/mod/addon/magisk etc - what we set default will always pass safetynet)
