ART CM11 Problem

Hey,
I tried THIS thing http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48273906&postcount=1021

Please take a look at what I did

1. Flashed CM and OdexerTool_1.1.1.1_ARMEABI.zip
2. Went to terminal, changed to linux, su => odex => all
It showed 40 mb system space, then started odexing, and failed at end, I typed "odex" again and it showed 0 mb sys space

Now because I have 0 mb system space, I wasn't able to flash gaaps.

Can you please tell me what mistake I did her. Sorry I'm kinda noob.

ART working with Dec 10 build

I was on Dec 5 build and ART never worked, so I was on delvik.

Steps I took:
1. From Dec 5, I flashed Dec 10 build
2. Cleared cache and dalvik
3. Reboot
4. It took around 15 mins to optimize my 125 apps
5. Got FC in google play and google core
6, Reboot into recovery and again wiped cache and dalvik
7. It again took 15 mins to optimize the apps
8. No FC, my defy is running very smoothly on ART.

Even whatsapp is working with Dec 10 build (Android 4.4.1)

You are saying that you had fully running system with all the apps and gapps installed and then switched to art, twice cleared cache and dalvik and suddenly everything started working without fc?

What exactly gapps do you have? Because there are 4.4.1 version now.....

Well, when I switched to ART on the 10 dec build, the phone app fc'd and wouldn't let me past. I rebooted to recovery, cleared cache and dalvik cache. Then it worked fine. Something must have gone wrong in the odex conversion process. Just try try again, I might just work

Yep, it worked this time..I wonder why it didn't in previous build >.<

You didn't make a mistake, you just need to clear more space in /system. Try deleting ringtones, system apps that you don't use, etc. See here for a list of system apps that are safe to remove.

When I switched to ART using this method, it used up about 60 MB of space, but it worked. ART is working smoothly, with no FC's.
