i think this kernel is optimizing the device so well that the soc doesnt require high clocks to perform well​

thats why this gives the best battery life. Its insane

Dirty flash rom after coming from EX Kernel

I use Resurrection Remix with EX Kernel out of the box, can I install without dirty flash my rom again?

i did flash without dirty flash, no prob till now. wiped dalvik cache/cache though

Make sure you use supersu 2.46 as the kernel will disable cm root option.

Is it convenient to have this kernel on other Roms such as Resurrection Remix one? Or I'm better to stick with EX Kernel on it? I mean is it better to use this kernel in combo with Arter's ROM or I can see major/minor improvements by using it on other Roms as well?

Arters rom and kernel are currently the only ones allowing system f2fs. And arters seems to give best battery to performance ratio.

So change the file system to f2fs on data cache and system then flash the rom gapps and kernel?

Back up everything on the phone to PC first it'll erase everything on your phone when you change to f2fs

Loool, true story: I woke up in my bed before some minutes and watched at my new OP3 and thoght, that i really like this new device, but somehow i will miss the power of the arter97 kernel from my good old s6 and then i startet cm browser, opened op3 xda thread and saw this! Thanks for that kernel! I hope i am not still sleeping and this is just a dream!

I'm getting stuck at boot animation screen, using latest DU ROM which is based on AOSP.
Do i have to flash this kernel over CM based ROMs only? Such as RR or others?
Tried to flash this over arter's unofficial CM, and it did booted completely. Insanely fast though.

Support for other ROMs are not guaranteed and is not planned at the moment

Only Arter's build is supported for now.No guarantee that the Kernel will work with other ROMs.

DU has the CM Kernel.
