As was explained to me by a tech at one of the Samsung verified repairers, " Make sure you back up your data, we wipe the device and install/re-install the latest updates. This fixes about 90% of problems..."
If your device was just serviced it would be par for the course to update to latest firmware/security patch...

Ewww dirty flash...[emoji1787][emoji1787]
I wondered just what would happen if I tried to dirty flash it on a SD card install. The prompt is MUCH faster than I remember and it lasted for maybe a fraction of a second... I missed it and it shut off halfway through the deleting data prompt instead. Then I bootlooped into the Starting Android splash screen.

I figured this would happen so I plugged into Odin and flashed it back to the most updated firmware and deleted all data.

I know most people are aware of this but you almost certainly will not catch the window in time to dirty flash. Just don't do it.

Just got the update on my unlocked note 10 plus. Had to manually check though so I don't know how long it's been available for download.

What is the diff between the Verizon and other carrier update of ASHB vs my U1 ASHE?

Prior to this update the U and the U1 had the same build number (ASH4). Now they are diff?

September update seem to boost my cellular signal and data speed. I'm very happy with my unlocked note 10 plus now.

I'm glad you're happy with it but that doesn't answer my question.
Probably nothing you will notice. It isn't really the first time Samsung has done this where carrier variants and unlocked have been on different builds without some tangible difference in them.
