I'm sorry if I sound sarcastic, but that's because I am. Can your friend show you pictures of his phone? I get the feeling he's either talking about a normal Desire, is telling you lies, or he broke into a secret HTC bunker and stole one!

Anyway:

1. I seriously doubt HTC would leave you with just 145MB spare (though stranger things have happened). I'd expect to see at least 500MB free...

2. App installation to SD is part of Froyo - so I'd be a bit hacked off if HTC disabled it! I'm pretty sure it'll be OK - though I don't know about moving pre-installed apps to SD...

3. Sounds like your friend has already scratched his imaginary phone - he should be more careful! Truth is no-one knows. There is already a thread about gorilla glass (along with a very angry forum member who will bitchslap you for assuming that gorilla glass has anything to do with being scratchproof - apparently it's actually shatter proof, not scratch proof!)

Well yes, I can't trust him so much, but he swore me he got it.
Anyway, I didn't mean to move preinstalled apps to the SD, but those downloaded (and installed) from the Android Market.
Oh, and he said the display isn't made in glass, but it's plastic :/ bah. I think he's lying, due to envy.

Do you guys think the DHD will have the same audio hardware architecture as the Desire? My Samsung Omnia died a few weeks back and I made the shift for Android after seeing the Desire and how matured Android has become in the past years... yet, on the Omnia there was a nice little app which would record all my calls automatically, both caller and me were good to understand in playback. All the Apps I have tried now on the Desire either Do not allow to record the caller (bleh! legal cya reasons) or if they do it the caller is being heard just very faintly and with lots of amplified ambient noise. I guess it has to with how the system routes the audio. Any ide if this will change?

[Q] DHD on the table, does it wobble?

Hi!

I want to know if the Desire HD does wobble when it is lying on the table and you tab on it. Can someone with the phone test it for me? The Camera isn't build in plane on the backside... This is one of the most disturbing things of my Vario IV.

For the gamers out there who were bored enough to check the thread out :
according to that thread (if I understand correctly), the DesireHD doesnt perform well on Gameloft games, as they're optimised for the PowerVR chipset (the SGS and iPhone have it). Any fellow Russians correct me if i'm spreading wrong info.
