Hmmm...try going into system /apps/browserproviderproxy.apk and add .bak see if that helps

Nope. If I force close, then go to settings and clear all app data and then go open the browser again it will start the "signing into google" screen for awhile and then just FC's.

add .bak to system /apps/browserproviderproxy.apk. Using TWRP. I can try flashing again.

Flashed again and still FC. hmm.

I can't get the browser to auto search when typing in the URL box. It just goes back to Google with no search

Thanks. Just open it and type any search query into the URL box.

Reset to default as well

Works with yahoo and bing set to default. Google just takes the user to the Google search page without a search

Sweet

For bookmark syncing I show it synced everything under "other bookmarks" in chrome, how do I get to sync "mobile bookmarks"?
Not sure...have u enabled sync bookmarks in ACCTS. I don't have bookmarks saved so couldn't tell if it worked...

Yeah I turned that on. It's weird, they won't show up in my list of bookmarks, but if I start typing one in the address bar they show up there.
