Similar to me although I don't find the phone slippy naked at all, however I have the Spigen Liquid air rather than thin fit and although it's a bit thicker it's a joy to handle so I'm sticking with that outsideWell. I disagree there. After many days using the phone naked and with different cases (whatever I found in stock in Amazon Europe), yesterday, I got a Spigen thin fit and now I can finally enjoy the phone with one hand
1) naked: quite slippery
2) Anccer ultra slim case: very slippery
3) Spigen Ultra Hybrid: huge case and a bit heavy. A bit slippery as well (but less than naked).
4) Spigen thin fit. Perfect grip. Doesn't add weight and adds very little width. Because of the grip it makes the phone much easier to use one handed. Especially with dry hands.
Personally I put a case to improve the handling. So I try to get a good balance between "width + weight + dry hands grip".
Naked has the best width and weight (and look). But I can't use the phone aggressively when my hands go dry because it becomes too slippery.

Inside, no case

Which one can you link? The ones I can find in the UK don't look particularly slim, I may try the Spigen slimI had the spigen liquid air case & the phone felt heavy so I bought the tech21 case & my pixel 5 feels like air now, it's such a superior case

Ok thanks, there are various on the tech21 the thinnest looks like the Studio Colour which doesn't seem to be available for the Pixel 5 yetI had the Spigen slim case as well, it felt just as heavy as the liquid air case and the spigen thin case smudged a lot in the back, I preferred the liquid air over the thin case for sure. I checked on tech 21 website & they must be sold out because it doesn't even show up at all. The tech21 case is slimmer looking than both spigen cases. It's the best case I've ever used. If your can find one get it, it's that good
Yeah, but one would have to assume that the one in best buy is one of the first shipped when all the problems occurred. Based on the populous, I think you'll be good. Not to mention that every swinging D has been in to that store prying on the same edge as you were for the last 3 weeks, 40 times a day...I was in Best Buy yesterday to check the pixel 5 since the phone is on 24/7 to see if the glue and screen issue is there and yes top left corner gap! I’m about to get Black Friday deal with Fido but I’m starting to contemplate if should I get Samsung S20 FE. Best Buy location Coquitlam
Just got one in the US yesterday and there is no gap whatsoever. I would imagine replacements are those returned.I have returned mine for a full refund (Clove UK) and ill wait till Feb-Mars to check if they fixed the gap. If not i guess i have to get something else...
I got mine from Amazon in the US. No gap, however, I might return it to due the not pleasant sound from the earpiece during calls.

I also got the 4a 5G and it looks that I will probably keep this one.
Water damage is not covered under any standard manufacturer warranty. So if my phone gets messed up after 2 minutes from sitting in a bowl of 5cm of water, then I think I have a valid case for full refund/replacement.
