I have a completely stock ASUS Transformer Pad TF701T and have an issue the screen has stopped responding. When undocked just using the screen it doesnt respond however when docked I am able to use the qwerty keyboard to navigate the tablet. Would this be a known problem? I have tried factory resetting the TF701T but it is still the same and the screen doesn't respond.

Any ideas?

Sounds as if your digitizer croaked or got disconnected. If you still have warranty contact Asus for a RMA.
If you don't, search ifixit and YouTube for instructions on replacing the digitizer yourself.

Strange I did a Factory reset it didn't make a difference then I did a reset with the volume buttons and now it's working. Not sure why that happened.

I don't understand it either, but hope it fixed it for good. ;)
I would suspect just handling the tablet connected the digitizer again. Unless you had something really weird installed which got wiped by the reset. But no app should be able to influence basic system functions like that....
So my money is on: Just one of those things.... :D

I have found it to start happening again and it appears to be an application incompatibility issue as after a complete wipe everything works. Problem is which application is causing the screen to stop responding ?
