I picked up a z580c the other day and I have an issue with screen mirroring. If I hit the mirror button I see a list of devices. My chromecast audio shows up along with my receiver but my roku doesn't and that is what I want to mirror to.
Please, where is the "mirror button"? The best I can find is a setting under More to play the screen on the Roku. My Roku shows up, I get the start of a connection on the TV, but my tablet screen never shows up after the gas gauge stalls about a third of the way.

LineageOS on ASUS zenpad 8 Z380KNL p024 elite version

I see there is a Lineage OS rom for Z380KL but I have Z380KNL elite version. Does anyone know if will I be able to install this rom on my tablet?

Thanks in advance

As of yet nothing known. Which really is a shame for this far under-appreciated tablet.

Has anyone been able to update their ZenPad 3s 10 (Z500M) to a version above 13.6.10.7? I have tried and tried manually from downloads from the Asus website and cannot get the update to complete (I get an error with dead android on reboot) with Status 2 - unable to verify whole-file signature error). I've put in a ticket with Asus but was wondering if anyone in the US has been successful in updating past this quite old version.

Thanks.

I got an OTA the other day and my current build shows as MRA58L.WW_Zenpad-13.0610.1612.22-20170214
If that helps

Anyone try an SD card greater than 32GB in their Asus 3s 10 Z500M? I've tried three, and they all get read speeds of only 1.8MB/s, which is insufficient for any video streaming without glitching. That's 10% of what I observe in other tablets and on my pc. If you have an SDXC card, please let us know what your read-performance is in the "A1 SD Bench" app. (write speeds are just fine at 20MB/s btw).

(SDHC cards <=32GB work just fine)

I've got 128GB SDXC and can run 1080p video off of just fine. But I haven't run any benchtest app

Yah, they kinda work, you start noticing it after you FF or RR a bit, it can glitch. GoPro video is the worst since they aren't compressed very well. Reading files back to your PC via the Zenpad also show 2MB/s.

In any event an "A1 SD Bench" read-benchmark is the only way to be sure. If you have a working card (10-20MB/s), perhaps you could share the make/model.

My Z500M "A1 SD Bench" score with Samsung Evo+ 128GB SDXC (same for sandisk microSD 128GB SDXC):

I loaded up the app and ran the benchmark. I have a SanDisk SL128 128 GB card and scored a whopping 4.42 MB/s Read and 32.99MB/s Write. Guess I'll just have to suffer with a few video glitches here and there.

Whoa! you got 4MB/s on an SDXC card! I think that was my highest reading ever. I suspect if you run the test a few more times you'll see it average at 2MB/s. These SDXC cards are 10 times faster in other devices and PC's. I'll stick with the old SDHC technology (32GB max) until asus can possibly fix this in a firmware update. I logged a support call with them, but, to be honest, I'm less than hopeful any information will get through to anyone who can help.

This is still a spectacular tablet imho. Fix the SDXC read speeds, move the speakers to the long-side, and it'd be *perfect*. Better value than anything samsung or google can provide imho.

That's full speed! Perhaps only 128GB cards are problematic?

Would you mind sharing the exact make and model of your 64GB card that's getting 17.53MB/s?

Also, you can see other's p027 "A1 SD Bench" results here: http://a1dev.com/sd-bench/results/your-model/#results
radon222: I just spotted yours.
loner: You appear to have tested your *internal* SD card, could you confirm? (it's yellow fwiw). I see a test with 17.53MB/read, on the *internal* card at that link, so I'm just assuming that's your test
