is it so? I just always when recording starts earlier version rom error ro.build.date.utc 1392739200

What to do ?
thanks for the reply

TO: jf.23

ty jsi tu rom taky přehrával at tam máš google aps ??
no no no. Should be this:
CN 1.16 ---> CN 1.14 : using downgrade method
CN 1.14 ---> WW 1.14 : rename, after this step, ur device become WW permanent.
WW 1.14 ---> WW 1.16 : regular upgrade, no rename

thank you downgrade from the current version 1.16 to version 1.14 will go without any problems or need something to set somewhere?
I ask why because when I first tried to downgrade to version 1.15 so I always threw out this error ro.build.date.utc 1392739200

(There is currently charge phone otherwise I would not ask you to try it)

hi, please first read the whole instruction (the key is down to 1.14, not 1.15), and second, read all comment related. without reading anything, you would not understand the problem with your phone. the problem with you is down to 1.15, that is not possible.

Yes, you could say that I know the whole process, but I can not upload my older rom it always throws an error (getprop("ro.build.date.utc").
1392739200

It is therefore true that before this, I did not downgrade the phone to factory settings and erasing any data if it it could affect

Say now, your phone is on CN 1.16, is it correct?
If yes, go ahead and downgrade to CN 1.14 using my instruction.
If NO, then is your phone CN 1.15? If yes, then downgrade to CN 1.14. If no, then tell my what is your phone FW?

Hi

I just bought Zenfone 5( TOOF) with firmware ASUS_TOOF_CUCC_USER_1.1.40.19_20140626 on UK ebay. I have been trying to update the firmware to V1.16.40.50 for WW SKU but it is always failing anytime i tried.I even changed WW on the V1.16.40.50 firmware to CUCC after unzipping, phone detects the firmware update but always fails when updating. Can someone pls help me on how to download the new firmware? Thanks

This is what i have on droidboot(recovery):

Droidboot version: 2.1 BUILD JUN 26 2014 11:52
Product: CUCC_A500

CUCC is the CN mainland version.
no need downgrade, things you need to do: download WW 1.14 and up rom using abd method. then upgrade WW 1.16.
*** I heard that no need change name for CUCC, even CUCC 1.15. let me know the result so I can spread the words here. thanks

go to post #1 on top, find downgrade section, and read. the downgrade is the whole tutorial about how to use adb to uprom.

***Update: right after we talked, this member has posted the brief instruction: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54733674&postcount=41 anyway, if you are not clear, you can read more in my downgrade section, it is very clear.

The mistake you are doing is

By the way,I already installed xposed but I cant make it to work on the adb part, where you input on cmd

echo 148 > /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/jit_reset_offset (hit Enter)
chmod 664 /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/jit_reset_offset (hit Enter)

cmd say location not found..
------------------

Hei I also had the same problem like you. Took me a while to figure it out. Try removing the space after 148 i.e. type like this

echo 148>/data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/jit_reset_offset

Good Luck
