This is surely a stupid question but would there be any issues running this on my att m7 with straight talk? Edit: okay more stupid questions. I'm currently on CM11 with 4.4.4. I'd like to go to 5.0.2 and this rom. I am not available for an ATT OTA because I'm on straight talk. Will it be possible for me to flash the 5.0.2 and use this rom with Straight Talk? I've rooted several phones and understand how to follow instructions, but I admit I am no expert. Thanks for any help and I apologize for my ignorance.

Just use twrp the last one and flash this rom. If it fails then force restart in recovery again and flash again. And yes it will work with straight talk just update the apn

Not following you exactly, you mean use the last file ATT_7_23_502_M7 firmware? Or use the latest twrp and just flash the rom without updating my firmware (which is recommended against i think).

If you have not updated your phone to latest firmware for this device Id suggest doing so,Ive read eome weirdness coming from cm back to sense,if you really want to do things right, download the latest ruu from htc's site,if soff you do not need to relock to flash ruu, connect via fastbootusb in bootloader and flash the ruu(backup files from storage as it will wipe the device),then flash twrp, then flash this rom,Straight talk will work fine with this build.

Is sunshine really the only way to achieve s-off on hboot 1.61. I want to run this rom but I don't want to pay $25 to get s-off :(.
You don't need s off to use any rom including this one. All you need is unlocked bootloader and t wrp recovery, bootloader 1.61 means you have the latest firmware so just flash the lollipop version of this rom.

It says "S-OFF IS MANDITORY!!!!" in the original post. Can I ignore that?
