Quick question though. Just ordered my Note 3 through Walmart Wireless a couple days ago and it won't even arrive here for another two days. Is it still worth trying despite not ordering directly through AT&T?

I'm not sure how you guys did this.. I have a Premier account with two lines and I'm under the 14 days return policy with my Galaxy Note 3. I've talked to 3 different reps and they keep on saying that this promotion doesent exist. One tried calling the Grapevine store however she was placed on hold and never got a chance to talk to them. Some of the reps said I would have to return my phone and go to the Grapevine, TX store and rebuy it with the galaxy gear (wtf I live in LA)
What is the exact wording I can use to say "add it under a phone accessory to be shipped to me and get a manager to lower the price to zero"
Hint: that didn't work either..

I called all att corporate stores I could find within a few hours of driving. Turns out there are 5. None supported this promotion. Called 611 they do. The rep even setup the order for the nearest store. After driving an hour, that store did not honor that order. Called 611 again. They are now sending me the watch and gave me a $100 credit for the inconvence.

So it's either:
(a) Rep says they don't honor the deal and/or they never heard of it, can't find it, etc. So then you talk to a manager to lower the price or make it free based on the deal being available before at the Att store.

(b) 611 will actually say you qualify for the deal and will ship to you or a store.

For those of you with scenario (b) are you guys Premier or Business accounts? And are you within your 14 day window?
Also what exact wording are you using because everytime I call they say the deal doesent exist..

Called 611. Spoke with Reggie who immediately knew the promotion that I was inquiring about. I told him that I had seen the promo in a store in Grapevine, TX (I'm in Southern California). He instantly knew of the promotion that i was talking about and wanted to know if i wanted the Galaxy Gear or the tablet. I told him i knew i was out of my buyers remorse period but was seeing if there was any way they could honor the promotion for the Galaxy Gear. 5 Minutes go by as he checks with his supervisor. He comes back and says that he is unable to honor the promotion. He then notices that I've been a customer for 7 years. I humbly stated that this was true and have never been disappointed with ATT at any point in time over the last 7 years. I told him that at the time of the purchase of my Note 3 the Galaxy Gear was unavailable in store. He says he is going to speak with his supervisor and see if he can talk to him about a discount or honoring the promotion. After about 5 minutes he comes back and asks what color i'd like!

Thanks so much for this thread. This is seriously what i love about XDA community. Reggies last words were "Don't go telling all your friends about how you got a free galaxy gear, well be getting a lot of phone calls" He also stated he was jealous ha ha ha!

So what exactly did those of you who were successful say? Did anyone in the NYC area/east coast get one? I just ordered a note 3 tonight and am going to call to try to get one tomorrow.

I called this evening and said that the a (friend) of mine had seen the promo in a store in Texas. He had upgraded one phone with AT&T and one with Best Buy. I explained to them that the Galaxy Gear wasn't available when I purchased my phone. The supervisor got on the phone and told me he would have to do some more research tomorrow and would call me and let me know what he could do. He even asked me what friends number was so he could look at is account to see what promo he was given. I told him I did not feel right giving out that info. He said he understood. If any of you that have been successful with this want to volunteer your phone number it might just help the rest of us out. Just a thought. So I shall wait till tomorrow and see what new I get in return.
