For those of you who reflashed the unrooted 10g image: How long did it take to get the OTA Software Update available message?

I've been "unrooted" for two days now (I unfroze all apps and unrooted via SU before I reflashed unrooted stock image, then subsequently flashed rooted image, then unrooted image again.) and I have not received the OTA message.

Is there a way to force the OTA update?

Success!

Well got my replacement and tried to reroot it BOOM worked fine no security error and worked out perfect...

Now my only problem is My phone immediately tried to do an ATnT update Phone rebooted and the screen said YOUR PHONE HAS BEEN SUSPECTED OF ROOTING CANNOT UPDATE... First thing I thought...You Damn right I am rooted!

But seriously though how can we bypass this to actually do a carrier update is there a way to update without losing the root or Unblacklist your device from being a suspect?

Why would it try and do an update if you're already on the latest?

If you got the security error then you flashed the wrong system.img.
If I backup my original system img, and keep it on my phone can I revert back to it if anything goes wrong?

So I was rooted on 10g, then thanks to everyone in this thread I was able to flash 10g stock to unroot and take the Ota to l. After the Ota finished, I checked in settings and I appear to be in 10o firmware which I have not heard anything about.

As far as I can tell I think is just another stagefreight fix but I feel like the touchscreen is also being more responsive in the short time ive been messing around.

Anyway, is this firmware rootable with the current method and if so, did anyone have a rooted image for it?

AT&T's blurb on it, which I just read this morning, is copied below. The image size that is offered to me is only 320MB or so though. I might try it this weekend, if I've got time.

I'll have the unrooted image uploaded tomorrow. Unless folks would prefer rooted?

10I is indeed a fix for Stagefright (and probably other things), if that has only been suspected but not confirmed. The method I've quoted in previous posts works just the same as before for rooting. So hooray!
Thanks for the unrooted img!
