backup download

Follow each step to install TWRP and root. I will not be responsible if you brick your device. If you follow each step you will have TWRP and root installed on your AT&T Ascend XT H1611
.
Anyone have the backup files for this phone?? Mine are gone somehow (I dont know how...) but I need the time reinstall the OS on my XT. I cant boot without it and I dont know how to install stock os without a backup..

First their is a space missing
fastboot boot TWRP.img

Second is TWRP.img in the same folder as fastboot ?

yes, it is. but without the space there is the only way i could even get it to do anything. if i did "fastboot boot TWRP.img" itsaid it couldn't find that file.

Then the file is named different

I just type
fastboot boot (and a space)
Then drag the file from your explorer to the command window
Hit enter

Trouble out the gate

New to all of this. Off to a bad start, following instructions here (rootmygalaxy dot net/unlock-bootloader-on-huawei-devices/.
Huawei Bootloader Unlock request page doesn’t have an option to choose US as country.
Are you sending an email to [email protected] to request unlock code?

Edit" found link to drivers in post #25

The instructions still seem fine to me. Have cmd and TWRP.img in the adb folder then open cmd prompt from within that same folder. Then you do not need full path
