Yes. I was able to successfully root the G pad with purpledrake. Towel root and stump root did not work for me.

But how are you going to flash stock to reset the root counter? Also, if you try to update ota it will most fail due to root.
So far nobody has any access to a factory image to restore stock. I was rooted with purple drake and think I received a small update the other day. Keep in mind I rooted and that's all. I have not removed any bloat or have not changed anything like adding exposed or titanium. I am still trying to see what update I took because I cut it on one time after it had been rooted and I saw a message about my device was updated successfully.
My V410 came with V41010B out of the box, but I've never received any updates, and I check about every other day too. I bought mine on the 4th of September. All I've done it root and install Exposed, but those are both easily undoable.

I don't care about that. I have yet to have any company, cellular or otherwise ever check that. I recently traded in my Note 3 to AT&T for a G3, all they cared about was that it was working and in good condition.

Has anyone tried G3 Tweaksbox with this tablet? Just curious of the results?
