AT&T modem on T999 for 4Glte??

Ok so I've searched here..and google but i don't know if I've read right or not...

Here's the question. .I had a AT&T Note i717...unlocked and was getting full blown 4Glte and I know unlocked AT&T versions of the S3 will also get the full lte treatment because of the refarming of towers and T-Mobiles own lte growth.

I'll go ahead and put my flame suite on

Can I flash an AT&T variant S3 modem to the T999 and be safe and get T-Mobile lte or is it a hardware difference?

Any pointers-tips-insults-welcome.

Hardware is different. will it work? who knows... Until someone tries it we wont know the result.

It should be ok to try since they are on the same partitions and as far as i know those are the same size. But im not making any promise that it wont brick your phone either. Its up to you if you want to try, but as with almost everything around here, there is always a risk.
