Yes, about 3 weeks ago, not with the latest firmware, and it still boots with ATT Logo and bloatware. ODIN completed with no errors. I assume there is something that protects USERDATA from cross flashing. I am able to use update my ATT device using TMB firmware using the HOME_CSC, skipping the USERDATA.

Here is a link to TMobile Forum post that talks about having to use patched ODIN, first flashing the XAA firmware, before cross-flash to another carries. However, for the 5G (976U) there is no XAA version.

Just my experience I wanted to share. Bought an att n976u and wanted to switch to t mobile. I flashed the latest TMB firmware and userdata. Surprisingly when it rebooted it was stuck on att/att/att. Did the *#272*xxxx# code and was able to change it to TMB/TMB/att. I was able to confirm you can go back and forth between TMB att with*#272*imei#.

I suspect the att and TMB userdata are the same.

I saw xaa but didn't want to try because others said you can get stuck.

Do I need to flash with tmobile firmware first before do the *272*#imei# change? because there is and option in the *#272* screen it said install! i have 976u from att but I got a last update like 4 days ago and I have network problem seen then! have a circle instead of bars but if I downgrade it work perfect but it force me to update today and disable the network again.

I will appreciate any help

You trying to use it on tmobile? Then yes I'd flash the TMobile firmware. Then do the *#272* code.

I got this one too! but after that I have no network and I have to downgrade to early version to work, but today it force install it and again have no network is no bars only a circle and that it!!

do you have any problems?

What you mean a circle can you post a screen shot? Is your IMEI in tact still?

Have you tried *#band# to see what bands are active? Also what is your csc? Att/att/att or tmb/tmb/att?

I changed csc to xaa/xaa/art. Everything seems to work including 5g on T-Mobile and caller ID and spam protection.

See other people mentioned, *#272*IMEI code doesn't work if you want to go back.

There's a new tmobile galaxy note 10+ 5G software update that has just been released as of right now which is the One UI 2.1 feature update, enjoy.

I can't seem to find any n976u firmware on frija or Sam firm tool. Can any one else confirm?

Seems to work on other models just not n976u.
