I wonder why it fails for me...I've tried like 10 times.

I had root through kingo then this completely useless update took it away...su is still there...the "unlocked padlock" still comes up when rebooting but any attempt to re-root ends in fail....this sucks!!!

Kingo 1.1.8 download

I have looked everywhere for the 1.1.8 download. Can't seem to find it.
Was hoping someone would know or could post the actual 1.1.8 download.
Thanks.

AT&T somehow without my knowledge or approval forced the BNB4 on to my SG Note 3.
:crying:

I kept looking for the 1.1.8 and found it and "took a chance" and downloaded. I did not keep or bookmark the link.
Any way. Kingo 1.1.8 did not work for me and I tried about 20 times. I am Win 7 64 bit with a ton of horse power.

WooooHooooo

I just tried again and have successfully rooted using Kingo 1.2 Just verified the knox was 0x0.
SU is on it and I have added back my Adaway and my other ROOT apps. When I first lost my root access and tried Kingo and it did not work I sent them an email letting them know. I had to retry Kingo 3 times, but SUCCESS.

Now if I can figure out how to enable portable hotspot without that 611 note I will be in great shape!!!!

BIG THUMBS UP TO KINGO.

Just an asside.
I was at a public meeting with a guy who works at Google last night. We talked about 4.4 and some other interesting things that Google is pondering and may do. Like making it super easy to root and put a custom rom on or even structure your stock rom to your liking, themes...etc...
