I ordered mine the 24th at 10:30 am, no extra shipping. Sent out today at 10:30 am ups next day air saver. I am in Texas so they send from Memphis.

Agree, but this time is the only time I have ever been happy with AT&T pre-orders. This time we are getting them early and not having to wait closer to the 15th store launch.

I pre-ordered on the 24th 9:30 p.m. Pacific Standard Time and got a ship date of the 4th. I chatted yesterday they said it had shipped but I have not received any documentation to support that.

what sucks about ups is they will actually be at ur facility the night before it gets shipped out the next day .. and the facility usually closes at 6pm or 7pm so the air mail arrives around 8pm and leaves before 11pm

Look on the AT&T web site to see your order startus. If it shipped, your order status will say "shipped" and show a tracking number.
I've had reps lie to me on chat more than once.

I ordered a Note 8 on-line through AT&T on 24 Aug. They said it would ship on 5 Sep, overnight. Received a text msg this morning saying it has shipped and should arrive tomorrow before 3:00 pm. My anticipation level is rising faster than the flood waters in Houston (Apologies to my fellow Texans suffering in Houston).

Did that says it hasn't shipped. But yesterday when I chatted with AT&T they said it had shipped.

UPS Says it has my Note 8 has shipped and should arrive on the 7th....

From what I can see, AT&T has been using UPS Next Day Air Saver on their UPS shipments.
If it was shipped today, you'll most likely have it by end of day tomorrow.
