At&t shipping and all things purchasing of Note 3

Mine says 10/1-10/2 pre order processing but they have already taken the money out of my account so I guess I will be waiting

It shouldn't have been taken out yet... shoukd still show as pending or something like that until they ship.. thats the way it has always been in the past.

Well, I spoke to a chat rep (I know they aren't reliable) but she originally told me my order will ship 09/11-09/13. I then asked if she knew why the got updated to ship earlier than what my order confirmation email said with a ship date of 10/01. She did some research and came back and said they don't even have the phone in stock and that it wouldn't ship until 10/01. I asked her why the system would put such a random ship date online and she said that is what it does when it isn't in stock which doesn't make sense because it usually says pending or back ordered when it isn't in stock. So basically I'm still not sure and holding out hope that we do get them early.

I'm glad you're part of the few that actually care about customers and their satisfaction. I have been with AT&T for years (on and off). I have also been with every other carrier even the garbino Nextel and I have to say that no other company has the customer service that AT&T does. Anytime I have ever called with an issue, no matter what it was, it was always taken care of quickly by a super friendly CSR. In my experience Verizon has the worst customer service hands down. I've never talked to more rude and arrogant people in all my experience with mobile carriers. Sprint comes in right behind them. I spend in excess of 500 bucks a month for service with AT&T and they actually act like they appreciate my business (or at least play the part well). Hopefully the other 3 will follow AT&T and improve customer relations. After all we're the reason these multi-billion dollar companies exist...

My money got taken out yesterday, but have a 10/1 shipping date. So I dunno what's going on. My hope is that since Apple is releasing their iphones on September 20th, that samsung is gonna try to secretly release the note 3 early so people can show it off before users have to stand in line for the iPhone and convert iPhone users to Note users. Fingers crossed that I get mine early. Ha.

I called customer service and they also said that the Web was wrongly saying shipping 9/11-9/13 and not shipping until 10/1. But I did get next day and paid the extra 14 bucks.

this happens every pre-release... thats why im not sweating it.. it will be here before we know it and we all will be as happy as kids on Christmas morning when it does arrive

I spoke with an AT&T agent on phone and I believe I talked to every department AT&T has to offer. They all told me that it looks like they are shipping it during those dates (9-11-13 to 9-13-13).

Guess just have to wait and see...

Well I just spoke with another representative and she said that those early dates was a glitch so the phones with that early date will actually ship on October 1.

Sucks! But oh well.

Yea I called earlier today and they told me the same thing. Later today I got on chat again just to be sure and they said they are sorry but it is a glitch and they won't ship until October 1.

I would believe otherwise if they have shipped other devices earlier than release day before, but I don't think they have. But what do I know, I have never preordered online nor have I ever owned an Android product before...

I remember that clearly because I pre ordered on day one with overnight shipping and then ppl started getting theirs a few days before the scheduled release date while I hadn't gotten mine yet and I paid extra for overnight. I got my shipping fee refunded and still got it a few days or so before the original release date.

I believe it was less than a week. .. but still earlier than the original release date.

Dialed 611 from my phone and talked to my rep. She said at first that it would be shipped from today to the 13th, but then i brought up the whole Oct 1st release date and she put me on a brief hold then said that she would go by the Oct 1st date and doesn't know why the site says 9/11 - 9/13. I then asked about getting overnight shipping and she said that it wouldn't be possible since the device is not out yet and that they can't change my order because it's already been placed.
