Does anyone knows how much the phone will cost outright on AT&T or T-Mobile? If the price is the same as the European counterparts, I would just rather by from a reseller since it would be unlocked.
Would those work on AT&T? Cause that's what I'm thinking. But AT&T seems to have different frequencies for LTE

from HTC's site on the HTC one:
LTE:

EU: 800/1800/2600 MHz
US (AT&T): 700/850/AWS/1900 MHz
US (TMO): 700/AWS MHz
US (Sprint): 1900 MHz
Asia: 1800/2600 Mhz

This is completely unnecessary. Three models could've been sufficient. AT&T+T-Mobile could be one if AT&T didn't ask for WCDMA AWS to be disabled.
Also EU is more than capable of handling Asian bands. Then there is CDMA Sprint.

Should be about the price of a iPhone 5 ($649) but not more then a Note II ($699) for the 32GB version. But I'm thinking $599 so they can stay competitive.
