So, since I don't have an AT&T sim, I'll probably never get the update, right?
I've already flash the H915 KDZ with no issues but I'm thinking about selling the phone and having an AT&T logo on the back and H915 model on software may put some buyers off.

That's correct without an at&t sim you won't get the ota

Sent from my LG-H910 using XDA Labs

It hasn't rolled out to my hometown yet. Which sucks, since I was out of town yesterday and I got the update notice there. Like a sane user, I decided to wait until I got home to do said update, just for the process to hang, followed by a "no updates available" notice here at home so far. I'm impatiently waiting for it to roll out here. I'm hoping it helps with the occasional lag I'm experiencing when using the phone around town...

Is cellular reception working?

I tried flashing h915 oreo flashing on my H910 but I had rare to no cellular reception. Is this working for you? If so, can you kindly guide how did you flashed kdz? I used Partition DL to flash all partitions which didn't work. Everything else worked fine though, except cellular reception

I am making a zip of the H910 Oreo firmware for people that don't have AT&T, so can't get the update.

Unfortunately, there is no KDZ for the H910, so in order to flash it, you have to root on Nougat, and then flash it from TWRP.

Until the issues with the engineering bootloader can be worked out, it will not be for people that want to stay rooted, but again, you will have to root to flash it.

After you flash the kdz, enter LG menu and do a factory reset. You will have signal after that.
*#546368#*915# > SVC Menu > Factory Reset
You'll get an error every time you boot but the whole rom is working fine for me.

Hey man, please use English on xda so everybody can understand and interact. As far as I know, and please someone correct me if I'm wrong, the H915 and H910 are the same phone actually. So that's why you can flash the other's rom without issues. It's still not possible to root stock oreo though.

same answer in Portuguese:
Fala mano, por favor use inglês no Xda para que todos possam entender e participar. Até onde eu sei, o H915 é H910 São na verdade o mesmo modelo, por isso você pode fazer flash sem brickar nada. Ainda não é possível fazer root no stock oreo.

Awesome! Looking forward to it. I would prefer a rooted phone to fix screen retention that LG had one job to fix on oreo..
