At the end of my rope here... Soft bricked moto x...

My son (he's a year and a half) a few days ago somehow found out how to get into the partition menu on my moto x developer edition(Verizon), which was running eclipse and working phenomenally. He started to delete the main partition, and shut the phone down once I seen what he was doing. So I tried to revert back to stock android, but all Google Apps were crashing at every boot. So after mulling around with it I finally got the stock rom to work, but software updates were crashing and rebooting the phone continuously because of root access (I believe). So I got into twrp and flashed cyganomod 4.4.4 for the moto x and alas, all it does now is either hang on "cmb roms" or I can get into the Fastboot menu... That's it. I requested a stock rom from Motorola, but is there any way to flash it without being able to get into twrp? I hope it's not beyond repair, but it's beyond my knowledge of Android at this point. Thanks cyganomod for referring to a rom that wasn't for the device you said it was.... =|

Yeah I was gonna try rsd. Have it downloaded with the stock firmware but it seems a little archaic, so gotta look up a tutorial since it doesn't have one that I seen. Thanks for the reply buddy! :)

Rsd isn't recognizing my phone... Did everything that I could find... So I'm hoping I can use adb/flashboot in motoxtools to manually reflash custom recovery and then reflash to stock... I wish I was better at this stuff... Lol

I'd go with Cyanogenmod if I were you as at this point you may have little to lose.

I did this last weekend and it was pretty simple. I used...
minimal_adb_fastboot_v1.3.1_setup.exe
MotorolaDeviceManager_2.4.5.exe
https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=ghost

I am so happy with Cyano, I am now installing nightlies on it as it is so easy to roll back if something is not working. :)
