I have an s4 mini Verizon (SCH I 435) that is running 4.4.2. I was able to root with kingoroot but cannot find a way to install a custom ROM. I flashed using TWRP and it reported success, but then booting into recovery mode gives the "software not authorized by verzion" bs message. Tried flashing stock ROM through Odin but failed due to write protection, and now phone won't boot.
I have scoured every corner of the internet and cannot find anything that tells me how to unlock the bootloader so I can install custom ROMs and flash the firmware. I don't care about KNOX, I don't care about voiding the warranty, I just want a way to make this work. I know it's a 4 year old phone, but I've always wanted to do this and now that I have a new phone I don't have to worry about bricking it.
