Athena Unlocker Download

Ok, the Unlocker is released, sorry it's so big but there's nothing I can do about that I'm afraid, that's just the way it is.

Those of you who are already unlocked should complete step 1 regardless... step 2 and 3 are optional (but if you do 2, you MUST do 3)

it's a pretty simple 3-step process and it's all explained, remember to keep your Athena connected at all times until you have fully completed all the steps.

So anyway...

Please note: you must have .net Framework 2.0 installed with the services packs, if you don't it then it probably won't run till you download it.

UPDATE: Thanks to apd, I isolated the problem and have fixed it, your device will now be hardreset in the process of unlocking unfortunately, but this fixes the blackscreen issue. please delete your unlocker and redownload.

SPECIAL INFO ABOUT STEP 2: When you run this step, first your device will be flashed; this is NOT the end of Step 2, you must then configure your device and set it up fully so you can access the menus etc (there will be a prompt to ask you to do this after the flash anyway). then you will be able to continue. please make sure to read ALL dialogs fully

Everyone needs to give you an extended thank you since you started working on this before the device arrived. Being that resourceful is a great thing.

Thanks Olipro for making this goal a reality and stuffing it to those that never believed.

Maybe next time we have a common goal, all those that doubted it was possible will join in ensuring quicker success.

That said, let's get donations going for Midget's device. We've already proven this system works. Let's repeat success and keep going.

More good news: I've managed to optimise the SPL not to query the radio at all when it checks CID, so if you manually issue task 32, it returns a "level = 0" instantly.

What's more, this SPL will block all other SPLs from flashing, so you can't remove the bootloader except manually with pdocwrite from windows mobile.

Tomorrow I'll get cracking on an unlocker, and maybe something to let you relock if there's demand for it .

Next stop? ROM Cooking.

Okay,someone has to be first.....I am getting a couple of errors when I try to run it.
The first one asks if my pda has gone idle, the second one occurs during the spl backup and states that it cannot find the temp file, and the log states at the end;

Copying C:\TempAth\itsutils.dll to WCE:\windows\itsutils.dll
Could not update itsutils.dll to the current version, maybe it is inuse?
try restarting your device, or restart activesync
or maybe your device is application-locked.

What am I doing wrong here?
