Atom Exec Vs. HTC Touch

Hi Guys, need some feedback regarding these two phones. I'm planning to buy one but can't decide which. Do you have any pros and cons regarding these phones? What are the common problems you encounter? Your feedback is greatly appreciated

I currently use an Atom Exec and am trying to decide between a Touch Cruise and TyTN II myself.

The Exec is a Windows Mobile 5 phone as where the newer HTC phones like the Touch, TyTN II, and Touch Cruise have Windows Mobile 6 Pro.

My Atom Exec has served me well but not without problems. The minor issues I currently experience are:

1: If I try to run the phone with the built in hands free, it crackles on the receivers end. So I don’t use this…!
2: The screen ghosts every now and then, mostly I’ve noticed when its connecting to GPRS to download my emails.
3: Writing emails or SMS messages is a pain because you have to use the miniature keyboard. You can download a FREE copy of TouchPal but found it’s just easier typing with a qwerty keyboard rather a 2x letter per key option even if it is smaller.

I’m also trying to decide if I will enjoy having a Touch phone so at the moment I’m leaning to a TyTN II only because of the qwerty keyboard. I’ve been told to go to a store that has both phones and play with them there. A few people have said to me that I will love the Touch over the TyTN and shouldn’t have any problems getting use to the Touch On-Screen keyboard.

Definiately get the Touch, I have a Touch Cruise and its very one handed use friendly. The included onscreen keyboards (I use the Touch Keypad) are great and you can get away with never using the mini stylus keyboard, which is great b/c thumb texting is much much faster than stulus texting. The Touch Flow software and HTC cube can be ported over to the Exec, but they really work sooooo much better on a flush screen. Out of those two devices, definitely get the Touch.

the touch (and especially the touch dual) are superior to the atom exec in just about every way, especially with a custom rom.
