but there is a less expensive option however it requires superskills and a super delicate hand is to purchase a digitser for 45-65 buck and taking your phone all apart like i aint kidding a [email protected]!#!tI might just end up doing that
there were quite a few people whoI did replace the damn screen! I dont even think they sent me the right screen because it doesnt sit in the phone properly!!
It does seem like the digitizer since its all completely stock and whatnot. I would try seeing around the area if you know any techies, or someone that seems trustworthy to fix it. Ive never sent anything in myself, for any product., i would also check to see if it's heat /overheating related.Hey guys, im glad that this thread is active now because i'm having an issue.
about a week ago, part of my screen became unresponsive. It is about a quarter of the way down from the top of the screen and stretches out to the whole screen length, basically a strip of the screen. The responsiveness comes and goes, and its quite annoying. also, sometimes my phone spazzes out and starts kind of glitching and doing random things, and would only cease when I put my phone to sleep and turned it back on.
now, backround on my phone, its over a year old so no warranty, completely stock, nothing done to it and its the At&t version.
My guess is that it is the digitizer, which pisses me off because this problem started basically right after my warranty expired. I do not trust myself to fix it on my own, so I would have to send it in to motorola.
How much would this cost, or does anyone have any other suggestions for me to fix it?
thank you

ALSO JUST TO ADD
My fingerprint scanner doesnt seem to be working, dont know if it has to do with the same problem. just thought I would mention it
Im pretty sure it isnt heat related, because when I put even a little pressure on the area of the screen where the digitizer is (top left) it starts spazzing out. sometimes it goes away, then the problem will come back.It does seem like the digitizer since its all completely stock and whatnot. So yours did get worse? thats my worry.Motorola told me it is a hardware issue, after sending in my second phone. I tried every rom, none fixed the problem.
Mine started with digitizer problems, then went to the sleep of death, then constant rebooting.
Check their website. You can enter your RMA number, and it will tell you up to date status.I had digitizer problems and went to ATT to try to just get an insurance claim and get the Atrix 2 but the deductible was $200! So I sent it back for warranty work last week and I'm still waiting. I had an unlocked bootloader and haven't heard anything so it must be okay.
