What's the difference between these three and Orange 01.100?
N_01.100.00R_asia_retail_26aug2011.zip
N_01.100.00R_australia_telstra_26aug2011.zip
N_01.100.00R_uae_retail_04sep2011.zip
I'm using a southeast Asia model with Orange 01.100 radio. Which one is the best?

To this question no one will answer all apprehended only by way of trial and error on different phones and regions of insertions may weigh differently

nice job! could you explain how you acquire the radios? might be useful. Thanks
hi! i made these bundles.
I had two versions of the sources,
first: official stock motorola sbf files, like 1FF-olympus-user-2.3.4-4.5.91-110625-release-keys-signed-ATT-US-GAS_NA_OLPSGBATTSPE_P011.sbf.gz
second: official SDupdate from motorola.com/Support/US-EN/Atrix%20Upgrade/Atrix-Gingerbread-Update files like Blur_Version.4.5.91.MB860.ATT.en.US.zip

if sbf i extract baseband(2 pieces CG5 & ramdownloader) and put to CWM bundle with script for baseband update.
if sdupdate, extract bp.img and put to CWM bundle with script for baseband update.

each file in the title have baseband version (N_01.100.00R), county(FR), retail or operator, and date then motorola compiled this sbf.
but if bundle from sdupdate, i don't know exact date.
in each cwm bundle inside attached text file like 1FF-olympus-user-2.3.4-4.5.91-110625-release-keys-signed-ATT-US-GAS_NA_OLPSGBATTSPE_P011.hmg or Blur_Version.4.5.91.MB860.ATT.en.US.zip.txt you can see firmware version.

i think no difference in same version baseband firmware if retail, if operator m.b fine-tune special for opertor, imho.
flash bundle closest to your location.
this is better i think N_01.100.00R_asia_retail_26aug2011.zip
from ATRIX MB860 Retail Southeast Asia
Android 2.3.4 ---- Blur_Version.45.0.20.MB860.AsiaRetail.en.03

Hi, all. I tried the Asia_retail 01.100 on my Atrix. The battery usage is much improved. With Orange 01.100, overnight battery drain on plane-mode was around 15%. With th Asia_retail one, the drain is only 7%.

No, im talking about the 7z...
7z files is SBF inside, flashed only through RSDlite.
zip files is extracted and splited SBF inside, flashed only through CWM recovery.

I installed the 01.100.uae version. I'm on att so could that radio affect my google talk? I'm trying to figure out why I'm not receiving msgs unless I sign out and back in to refresh.

I'd try reinstalling Gtalk. Why did you flash the UAE version when you're on at&t? Were you having signal issues? What advantages did you see, if any?

I'm asking because I've never really had stellar signal strength on my Atrix using N_01.77.30P but I've been hesitant to try anything else.

Hey thanks for this!

It's nice having a page with all the radios and instructions, even if it is linking to another thread's directions.

you don't need to change baseband firmware when you travel, only if you have a problems with the signal, speed...
but you can try it, it's easy and can always come back to stock 01.77.30P
well, from my experience the stock 1.77.30p would not pick up the 2100 DoCoMo or softbank networks in Japan. i had to flash one of the Asia radios.
