Hello All,
This is my small contribution towards this forum on how I rooted the ATRIX 4G. This mobile set I have bought from ebay site and it was supposed to be for Korea market with T-Mobile operator. The SIM was unlocked though and was able to use VOD-IN Sim with out any issue. But still I found that some issue on registration keeps coming up and thought of root and install CM7. This Korean version ATRIX also had many T-Mobile apps. Here is the steps.

Step 1. First I tried to use the RSDLite from Moto, but I felt it does not had any action on my mobile.
Step 2. Unlock the phone using ADB. You must install the drivers and boot on FastBoot by pressing the Keys.
fastboot devices
fastboot oem unlock <<DeviceID>>
Step 3. Next steps I triend to install the "recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.0-olympus.img" but some how it did not able to install the rom,
I also used the touch version. But finally I used another rom that I have got on the web "recovery-en-goapk.img" to install the
ROM for the first time.
fastboot flash recovery <<>>.img
fastboot reboot
Step 4. Installed the cm-7.2.0-olympus.zip from SD card. Before that I wiped every possible thing that Cache does have. From
Advance menu.
Step 5. Problem comes with the rom so I went back to "recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.0-olympus" from "recovery-en-goapk" using
fastboot command. Repeat the Step4 again to install all.
Step 6. After new install the rebooting issue went off. But I missed the IMEI no and no network coming up. Finally I installed the
"baseband-N_01.77.37P.zip" file from advance menu of ROM by selecting install from ZIP. Finnally every things comes up :)
Step 7. The last issue was with the Internal SD card.It was not able to detect that same. I didnt had any extra SD card though. The fix
I did is I went to Apllication and Select the Usa Internal Storage. I have not modified any files as suggested by many of the
people.

Please take your back up and the IMEI no before you start this process.

Thanks.

So basically you just provided the steps everyone took to switch from stock to cm7 while using the outdated recovery from back then (updated 5.0.2.7, no app needed to install), along with the common fixes that everyone knows about instead of following the guides that have been up here for nearly 3-4 yrs.

GB = less than 10% of all devices, aka dead os that has been replaced.
