Tried flashing this tonight..and weird. It wiped out my device, but yet I'm still on CRE1. This happen to anybody?

Going to give this another try. Downloaded fresh copy of N950USQS5CRF6, and will try updating from CRE1 to CRF6 via Odin 3.13.1

I'm on my phone with 3% battery but I found out a dialer code to do what u are talking about try and view my posts I don't have many and you'll find the code to switch the carrier firmware wittout a computer [emoji6]

Does this firmware have the bootsplash?

I flashed another at&t firmware (5CRK1) and the at&t bootsplash did not appear when booting the phone. I need to get this thing back the way it was when I originally started messing with it so I can send it back. Can anyone confirm that the at&t bootsplash reappears when flashing this firmware? Please advise.

5CRK1 is a stock AT&T firmware. As long as you have an active AT&T SIM installed on the device when you flash it with Odin, it will install all of the appropriate things that are associated with AT&T

You were spot on! As soon as I put an active AT&T sim in the phone it installed the bloat and the splash appeared. Thank you so much for the help!

^^^^^^^Is this all I need to downgrade a carrier locked at&t note 8 I'm not able to root it either, it says my bootloader is v5. This is actually what it says (N950USQU5DSD3). Do I need to follow this tutorial or a different one?? What version of odin, do I need anything else

hey thanks for the file i tried to root with samfail i forgot the to check the PDA and csc now i am stuck on emergency mode i can access the download mode it has bootloader 5 i only know this thing can i use this file to install the firmware without knowing pda and csc, when i download firware from updato odin gives a error "FAIL! Model dismatch fail"
