Attention kernel devs: 3.4.10

Will it be possible to have 3.4 kernel on aosp rom someday? My brother owns HTC ONE X and his device is much smoother on CM 10.1 with 3.4 kernel that it used to be on 3.0.

I rewrote whole source code related to Sensation's board and I created my own LCD panel driver based on code from Sensation's kernel 3.0.16. Also I adapted audio driver to Sensation's audio codec and I added few missing drivers. I'm using this kernel for few weeks, with almost stock HTC JB. Main camera doesn't work yet but I already know how to fix it.

I know that the HOX is much poweful than Sensation, but for rendering the UI senny is powerful enough. Even on HOX with K3.0 it lagged sometime. After he updated to 3.4 kernel it was much much smoother.

Why U are talking me in this way? There are any problem with me? Because we have always friendly talked.
However in the public kernel you havent implemented ion in the camera yet, so its not working.
However i know that it is useless to work on 3.0 kernel to implement ion, so it'd very good that U switched to port 3.4 kernel directly .

Maybe you talked only about ION but I implemented it correctly in my kernel. Camera doesn't work because JB liboemcamera.so requires new video kernel driver (/drivers/media/video/msm). I couldn't backport this driver from kernel 3.4.10 so I decided to port whole kernel 3.4.10 to Sensation.

I was talking in general, not of your kernel. Your ion kernel is very stable, it's based on your great ics kernel! And you have done an awesome work on it and ion.
However you're right, it's better to work directly on 3.4 kernel.
I've started my port also, if u want we can work together for better results, i'm always open to collaboration i've always worked with other people and my work is always opened.

Anyway, just to know how far did he go... No interested in eta though, he could also never release a ported kernel, for what that counts, but at least we can know where he stopped

LoL, I'm not whining. I only say that although our phone has ION kernel (Sebastian's) that doesn't mean nothing for Sensation's AOSP based ROMs.
