Just checked on the Samsung SM-N910C Galaxy Note 4 , Samsung SM-G900F Galaxy S5 with a Lollipop Touchwiz , fashion works.

It doesn't work on stock tw lollipop 5.0.1, although its enabled but actually no effect occures neither on stock player or Poweramp
