It does not work in Resurrection remix ROM. After I flash it, and reboot, it make the system UI stop working ( RR ROM)

I get SoundAlive_52.apk from Alexis rom and replace it and everything is fine.
WARNING:Replace SoundAlive apk after flashing Dolby.zip.
If you don't do it,you lose true apk.
My advice to developer;change S8 SoundAlive.apk to bottom apk.
I add SoundAlive_52.apk from Alexis rom below.

The flashable zip handles the editing for you so I dont think it needs root since it's done in recovery. And you can have it edited first before u flash it in anyway.

I've repacked your flashable zip with swdap libs hex-edited to work without editing sensible ro.product lines, now they will look for these ones instead:

dolby.fake.model=SM-G960F
dolby.fake.device=starlte

(which the updater-script will automatically add)

feel free to use them and OP needs updated too.

So, we just flash this in twrp? I have the op zip flashed but does not work on speaker as the sound alive apk just would not install(on googlewiz rom CRD1).

you don't need to install any apk. the 21 version should work for you.

Srry u didmt understamd my ques. I flashed the original zip of the thread(the one on the 1st page). But dolby was not working on phone speakers but working on earphones. For dolby to work on phone speakers someone suggested to install the sound alive apk(on page 2). I could not install it on my rom dont know why. Now my ques is can i flash ur zip staright away thru twrp and will dolby work on phone speakers also? It yes which version the 21 or 55 in which dolby also works on ohone speakers?

the 55 version has the same apk as in OP.
the 21 version has the apk published later that fixes the issue.

my 21 flashable is for people who can't install it manually like you. so yeah my 21 zip should fix the issue for you.

Okay i flash urs 21 zip. Now i can turn on the dolby on phone speaker but it does not make any effect. Now even while earphones plugged in no changes are there woth dolby on or off. I even tried changing modes to movie and music etc. Previously there was difference(with the original 1st page zip)
