[Audio Mod] ●►Dolby Digital Plus for Note 4◄● UPDATE 2 5.0.1 - 5.0.2 - 5.1.1

My good friend @thereassaad has been working really hard and made Dolby digital plus work on Note 4.



Devices this mod works:

N910c (5.0.1 5.0.2 5.1.1 Lollipop) with permissive kernel, tested by me.



Other devices it works (per users reports):

N910F

N910F and Echoe Rom v4.0

N900 Dr. Ketan rom

N910L stockroom

N910p sprint echoepop

N910H dr.ketan l2 "new" rom, ultimate kernel v.20

N910G Dr.Ketan Rom (may need to flash the file in this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...custom-rom-t2928568/post60276115#post60276115)

Moto X 2014 with CM12

Samsung Galaxy s3 with LP 5.0.2

SGN-4(SM-N910G) Stock Rom

HTC One m7 int. Lollipop 5.0.2 Sense 7 rom

GT-I9505 AlbeRom v3.1

Nexus 6 with Viper4

Nexus 5 5.1 cataclysm ROM.. Using Poweramp disable direct volume control to get it to work.

i9500 Magma Rom 3.5

Glamour Rom ported s6 for n910c 5.0.2

This should work on any deodexed roms (lollipop) with custom kernel.



Please note I will not be responsible if any damage cause to your phone, please make sure to make full backup before flashing.



Instructions:



First please make sure there is at least 25mb free space in system for installation without any errors or parsing Apk successfully.

You need to have permissive kernel for this to work.

●► go to recovery

●► flash Dolby digital plus

●► wipe dalvik and cache

●►reboot



Once rebooted, you will be able to see the app in the app drawer make sure dolbydigital plus is turned on.



It works great with viper4Androidfx which you can find here as far as I know viper4Androidfx works if you roms SE is permissive. You can read it on the thread.



If you get a FC after rebooting:

- NU player in developer option should be disabled

- if soundalive fc please remove it or freeze it with Titanium backup pro.



Current bugs:

Access from notification FC. Need to launch the app from the app drawer.

and after installation... do i need to wipe dalvik cahe and cache partition or only dalvik cache?

It should working because i tested on dr.ketan N4 rom Ported to my n3 & its working fine

It should working on N910F just before flashing full backup then flash with wipe cache/dalvick & reboot.
If not working then restore ur backup

Good to hear it works on N910L as well.
About the soundalive and adap sound it depends on your rom, I have tried it in 2 custom roms and I did not have to do anything, because custom rom already disable these.
