This mod is still not available for HTC m8 running sense right ?Last time I used it failed to flash.
I tried extreme music for over a week and the bass was not nearly as good as just extremebeats and v4a so there is definitely something in extremebeats that every other audio mod (in my usage experience) does not reproduce. If you haven't used extremebeats 4.1 in a while, try it and see what you think.
Um I already know how it sounds with my headphones(both pairs) and it is not going to sound any different since it is the same version I last tried 2 months ago and the same headphones. The only thing changes is how the music sounds relative to the headphones you are wearing. I have a pair with a balanced sound signature and one with a v-shape sound signature. This mod is perfectly fine with my Audio Technica earphones but too much bass and treble with the BKHC Studio DJ headphones.
I like my bass to sound relative to how the song is produced. With this mod I get an extra bass thump when I listen to Soldier Of Love which is more then the song is actually providing.
Not really the point I was trying to make...
You told a user there was no point in flashing extremebeats since the xtrememusic mod was already installed. I was just stating that the two mods sound completely different, even though, I figured suggesting you try it yourself would just make you lose focus on what I was specifically talking about...
You are talking about how the mods sound different which I already know that. Xtreme music has more lib files than extremebeats including Sony DSEE for hi-res audio(not sure how he got it to work). Those extra libs tames the bass in favor of a more balanced sound. It was pointless to suggest that I try something that I already tested out. I already know that extreme beats has extra bass and I personally don't want extra bass on top of an already bass heavy headphone. I also know that a good chunk of extreme beats isn't active so you are only getting a portion of what the mod sounds like.
The people involved in the other sound mods have been doing this longer then the developer of this mod and already figured out how to get all of the lib files to work. With their work you are getting exactly the sound that is expected when all audio technologies are active. If you read the op based on what is included in the mod you should get the same sound your getting with XtremeMusic.
Hello. I want to ask if this mod is compatible with gingerbread? If no, then maybe you could release separate version for it?
HI @androidexpert35 / @Benfeutrill, would it be possible for you to release the DSEE HX and HI Res Audio libraries as a seperate package. I already have eXtremeBeats 4.1 LP Optimized version and i love the way it sounds, with XTREMEMusic my audio doesnt sound so loud and Viper4Android also seems to be a mess. Would be greateful if you could help me out with this request. Or let me know how i can extract the libs and add em to EBS, and what build.prop settings to change.
Thanks in advance
Phone: i9082 Galaxy Grand
OS: CM 12.1
Mod: EBS 4.1 LP Optimized and Viper4Android
OK posting multiple times won't get them to help you any faster.
