Audio Problems

My Cruise has recently developed an annoying problem. I can make/receive calls by using speakerphone/bluetooth headset but there is no sound from the internal speaker. It is very odd to have to listen to all your calls on speakerphone. It looks like a hardware issue to me but before I send it in I wanted to check if this could possibly be linked to some software glitch.

I have the same issue, when I dial a number and I have the headset plugged in , the sound comes out from the internal phone speaker.
Very annoying !!. Does anybody have a clue on how to fix this ?
I have the French ROM.

i think if you are using stock rom and it doesnt get fixed after a hard reset you should probably get it replaced.

A standard ROM (or firmware), as opposed to one of the "cooked" ROMs from forums such as this.

I backed up my data (SPB Backup) and restored the original ROM (I dont have cooked ROM).
The sound is now OK ! (and not going through the speaker when I plug the Headphone)
I backuped the Mobile again in order to have the original files (system, registry ...)
I restored the first backup to get back all the program and data previously installed.
I have a different behaviour now and I discovered that Phone Screen Lock application is to blame: when locking the screen the speaker is activated for few seconds then the sound go through the headset.

Unfortunatly I dont have time to debug the problem, so I removed Phone screen lock software and restarted the unit.
Now it is working again normally
