Just looking for a rough guess as to how well the X does Sound Processing for music. GSMArena doesnt have their tests up yet so I was looking to find out from people here if it is clean and loud before I go and put money on this phone.

So anybody with an X at this point, what's your opinion? Distorted? Clean? Let me know!

Thanks!

I just picked up the Droid Maxx today, and I bet the sound quality is the same as the Moto X.

Overall, it's very clear and comparable to my Galaxy Nexus. I've been listening to my V-Moda M100s, and I haven't noticed any distortion. The sound seems little treble heavy compared to my Nexus 7 or my Galaxy Nexus, but I'm not quite sure yet.

The thing that bugs me, is that the built in EQ is locked in on certain presets - you can't actually change different EQ bands.

Poweramp is the way to go.
