i guess they didnt come out with the endurance rating yet. hope its good
Mine's arriving at work tomorrow :) I got mine through Telstra so I picked the gunmetal grey. Curious to do my own camera testing and compare it to the Note 4 camera. Tomorrow will be rainy in Sydney though so might not be able to get some nice outdoor shots in the CBD during lunch.

Just picked mine up from Telstra store.

Please check yours, my first one had a screen issue (black line down the middle), Telstra swapped it over on the spot.

Second one seems good so far, will check back in a day or two with some further thoughts.

Seems a decent upgrade from the M7, although the chasis design is a step backwards IMHO.

Telstra "4gx" is bloody quick too... getting about 60mbps more then the M7

Had an issue with my order through Telstra.
Ordered mine on the phone on Saturday, and my brother ordered his online on Sunday night.
He got his phone today... I didn't.
Spoke to Telstra who insisted that my brother must have gone instore to get the phone - he didn't.
They then said that the warehouse is out of stock, and it will be 2 weeks away.

Went through to complaints, very happy with their service. They did the running around, cancelled my order, and spoke to the manager at my local Telstra store who has the phone ready for me to pick up tomorrow.
Will post my thoughts on the phone later this week.

HTC One M9 - a review after 18 hours.

1. It is beautiful. Yes its larger and heavier than an iPhone 6, but the fit and finish is absolutely exquisite, the finish
on the back is like fine jewelry. Ain't nothing else like it.

2. Feel in hand is great, sharper edge means its easy to hold, and I can comfortably type with one hand again, something
I struggled to do on the Z3 and desire eye due to width.

3. Sense 7 is superb - I opted to turn OFF some of the features for now, but even just the speed, fluidity and design updates over sense 6 is amazing. This is again,
easily, the best android skin out there, I think its even better than stock android now. (personal opinion)

4. speakers. > all. That is all

5. Camera - yep, htc still has some work to do on the software front. Vibrancy isnt quite there yet, but the UI is great,
snaps shots quicker than before (already quick), and still have full manual controls. Image processing is where improvements
are required.

6. Selfie cam - works well, Ultrapixels win here.

7. SPEEEEED - In every sense of the word. SPEED is abundant. - I transferred my (admittedly several hundred MB) whatsapp
backup within 3 minutes - this excercise usually takes 15-25 min on other phones. App speed - immense. Load times miniscule.

8. Battery - too early to tell, early signs on par with most flagship androids (decent).

9. Display - great, nothing wrong with 1080P on 5". SLCD colours are accurate. New Gorilla Glass 4 is really nice, much
less fingerprints compared to GG3, and outdoor visibility greatly improved. this morning, outdoor vis was miles better than
i6.

What do I wish HTC would do?

1. refine that camera quickly
2. make this more water resistant (it is IPX3 already, but their IPX8 case is like...$90...too much)

Sorry PlatinumNick! cant!

I only just got it in the afternoon yesterday, charged overnight. Its 10:30am here in Sydney, I'll update tonight when I get it low, and let you all know. But even then it would be the first full charge, so grain of salt!

Ok, posting battery stat for the 1st full charge as requested above.

Keep in mind -

2 push email accounts (1 Gmail, 1 Exchange), IM going off consistently, LTE all the time, no WIFI use at all, and BT on (Moto 360 connected). I also downloaded a bunch of apps for phone and Moto360 today

also, power saving measures all OFF, brightness on auto detect but HIGH, playing with camera quite a bit, and reading a bit.

ok, so first charge
USed 78% in 7h 17 min (10.7% per hr) - Gsam
SOT is 2h 14min so far.
screen used 18%, phone radio 36% and app usage 46%

Gsam says I have 7 hr of standby time left based on last 15 min.

I think it would get to about 14 hr stdby, 4 hr SOT with my typical usage with NO battery savings once it gets up to scratch. Which is on par with my M8 and Desire eye prev.

I'll let you guys know also how it goes tomorrow.
