one year on, Android P is almost out and Samsung is just rolling Oreo to their flagship devices, Glad I dropped my S8+ and cracked the screen couple days ago, I bought MI 6 128 gig for the same cost to repair it as it was a duo import, the bluetooth was horrible in my Mazda 3 and my 3 Bluetooth headphones.Yes.
It's a pity that you Samsung has not released a new Oreo ROM for unbranded, XSA S8+ version. Damn you Samsung for being sooooo slow!
I'd love to hear what their excuse: they can't use carrier testing as a valid excuse since telco don't need to approve the new firmware for their network.
I guess not all Mazda cars are made the same: sound on my Mazda CX-9 is crystal-clear and Bluetooth works perfectly fine. Have you updated MZD Connect? (Mazda proprietary entertainment system). Check battery usage in settings. There might be a rogue app draining the battery. Try switching to 3G only to see if battery life improves.I have the Chinese 128Gb mem and 6Gb Ram s8+.
Live OS in China, but regularly-ish visit Aus.
Last time I was in QLD and my phone was overheating and the battery was draining excessively. Any ideas why this might be? Was using Telstra.
Any thoughts on this?
Model might not be optimised for Australian networks?
Yes, this time 6 months later, the phone prompted a change battery settings for new locale. One Interesting change that I immediately note is, when in China, Youtube kids app is automatically shut off now.Check battery usage in settings. There might be a rogue app draining the battery.
