Here we are with TWO new tools!. Ready for modding ours ZE520KL/ZE552KL!

Their name are a bit different, but we'll call 'em "ZE5xxKL_Modder".

These are batch modders with all files for modding our device into it.

How to use ZE5xxKL_Modder:

Extract the zip in a folder, then make sure you have all required drivers for fastboot/adb. Then enable USB Debugging into your phone and open the tool. The phone will be rebooted automatically. Then select an option from the menu'

Problema nel blocco del BOOTLOADER

Salve, ho un Asus Zenfone 3 ZE552KL con android Oreo. Ho scaricato questo tool, per effettuare la procedura del blocco del bootloader.
Dopo aver aperto ZE552KL_Modder.bat e aver seguito la guida per scaricare tutti i file ed aver fatto partire il blocco del bootloader. Mi sono trovato all'avviso "Part 1- flash factory raw" da almeno 1 ora. E' normale questa attesa? Posso chiudere il tool senza danneggiare il bootloader? E in caso lo danneggiasse, si può far ripartire la procedura per metterlo a posto?

Hai bisogno dei driver USB, in quanto il PC ha bisogno di questi driver per comunicare con il telefono.
Sotto il Part 1 - flash factory raw dovrebbe essere presente un <waiting for device>. In caso contrario, dimmi cosa esce.

Yup, it should work because the lock/relock process it's done while being on Factory, so there should be no problems.

How will the factory come onto the phone during the process of lock/unlock? Or do i missunderstand something completely?

Nope, you shouldn't search anything.
The download link for Factory RAW and Oreo RAW is automatically opened while doing unlock/relock process (only if their zip files are not in their respective folders. If there is any zip file, 7z will do the rest of the job). So no worries about searching etc. That tool is designed to simplify unlock/relock/root etc. process, not for searching for hours many raw files + aft links

Firstly, it checks if there are 2 files into the unlock folder: factory and oreo raw. We'll call this process "checkfiles".
If detects that there isn't a factory raw and neither a factory zip, it redirects to download section where you can download and place the factory zip into his folder. After that, when you press a button, the unzip process starts. When it ends, it returns to the "checkfiles" var. Now he detects that there are both factory raw & zip, and check if there's oreo raw/zip file. The rest of the process is the same.
After that, when you unlock, basically it flashes factory raw, then reboot in bootloader, unlock the device, reboot in bootloader and, finally, flash oreo raw.
The same process is used for locking bootloader, with the only difference, obvisiouly, that the bootloader will be locked and not unlocked.
