The CWM

So I think I finally got everything installed right(thanks a bunch btw), but I have a question. What CWM is included in the script? I was looking at mods to install, never have done that before, and I was looking at the cherry rom and it said to use romracers CWM. So, what one do I have?

Whoa! Through sheer luck I was able to get my phone into Fastboot. I loaded the original script and ran option 3. Now it's asking for an ID number that should be appearing on the device but isn't showing up. Advice?

Attached is a photo of my phone now.

The ID will be in screen of your PC. Please share the following information: what computer do you have and what windows version is?

I'm using a desktop PC I built myself. I can tell you the specs if you want them. My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

Also, I noticed my image didn't come through last time. I attached it to this post.

Ok your phone is just softbrick....

But if you have acces to any windows pc vista , 7 or xp 32bits will be great seems your windows is getting stuck with fastboot commands

Charge full battery and try again in 32 bits computer seem 64 is a pain with dos scripts....

I will re-attempt with a 32-bit computer. However, this still doesn't change the fact that I can't get into Fastboot or RSD mode consistently. Most of the time I get the "Failed to boot" screen. Very rarely have I been able to get into Fastboot or RSD.

I ran the OP's script, went through the soft-brick, and eventually got it unlocked. And I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. Make sure you extract the script folder to your C: drive, and don't have any spaces in the path to the folder. Otherwise when you double-click MAIN.bat it will probably pop back to C:\WINDOWS\system32 for your working directory, and the script might have trouble locating the executables it needs.

You're almost done, just hang in there, and like it says in the script, DON'T PANIC. ;)

Also, never ever trust the battery meter to be accurate on the low end of the scale. These phones default to warning you about low battery at 40%, and the flashing process itself is CPU and I/O intensive. So if you start flashing at about half charge you're already asking for trouble. But don't feel too bad, even some of the kernel devs here have gotten bitten by this bug.

Good luck!

Note that there's no "PwrReason: PWR_KEY_PRESS" line on the screen in this image. But that line reappeared in the later images you've posted...

Your phone also tends to eat the juice while it sits "idle" in Fastboot or RSD mode. So it looks like the battery's drained back down to the point where the phone is complaining about charge levels again.

Just recharge the battery again like the OP advised, and when it's ready, try running option 3 again. I think I actually had to do that twice to get the script to give me the phone UID.

I understand that but I have been unable to run the script because I have been unable to get my phone into Fastboot mode.

Hey fellows, I am in a soft brick when I choose option 3 at the point that I press enter to get the ID, another dos window pops up for less than a second and disappears. How do I stop that to read the id because apparently gives me the id in a different window and not the main one.
