I have a Realme GT ME (although this problem might not be device specific as no one else has had this) which I bought a couple of months ago. Everything is working fine, got the new OS update as well but one thing that is not working is SMS. Also only when SMS is generated from another app.
Normal SMS is working fine. I can send and recieve them. Only when another app tries to send and SMS, say for some verification, it instantly fail. However if I try to send the same SMS again by tapping it to retry, it work fine. I have no clue why this is happening. I have tried and ruled out most of the probable causes,
1. Sim is working fine since normal SMS works
2. It isn't the messageing app since I have tried installing a different one.
3. The SMS issue is caused in all app hence it is not app specific.
Hence it has to be something to do with the OS or the SMS service. I'd really appeciate if someone would be able to help me.
