Automatic Splash Image Creator (PNG to Flashable Zip in One Click!)

How do you run the .bat file to get the flashablezip

Place ur png into the file "convert png to rle". Then just click run png to rle.bat. A screen will pop up asking if u want to run. Click on run. It's that easy. The flashablezip will will appear in the folder. ..then just flash.

I placed the image in the PNGtoConvert folder and renamed it to initlogo.png but when I click png-2-rle.bat it says open or compress and doesn't say anything about run lol

just used the computer and flashed it but still coming up with the stock galaxy s3 logo

I named it Initlogo.png but when I hit run and it starts making it it can't find the file and just makes a blank flashablezip I think it's only meant for Verizon s3 and I have sprint lol

This tool is exactly what I've been looking for... I think. In the OP it states this *should* work with all US variants... does that include the T-Mobile T999? May be a redundant question, but I wanted to triple check.

Edit: After some more hunting around, I answered my own question. It does indeed work flawlessly on my Slim 4.2.2 ROM.

For whatever reason its not working at all for me. I have KT747 Kernel and Hyperdrive RLS 15 Rom. I used the pic that was posted a few pagesb back: http://www.keepitfishy.com/galaxys3/splash3.png

I flashed it and it just doesnt change the splash screen at all. Nothing happens. I followed the directions to the T.

This is the one that I tried to make. I took the image off of Zedge and tried to convert from a jpg to png at the correct size only to have it not work. spitfire143 ended up fixing it for me so it would work. If anyone wants to use it the .zip should be the correct one and it should work. I plan on downloading something and not using a site to convert the image. I plan on trying to make some more.

Used gimp to convert my image and did like the file said and now it isn't working. Same splash screen as I posted. Is it because I renamed the file?

I found out what my issue was. I don't know why but I was just putting it into the program folder and not the one the instructions says to. I guess with the backup in it, it wasn't clicking with me to put it in there.

With hockey starting backup it caused me to want to make this one.

Works perfect on my t999. Now, since I got the boot splash, I want to change my bootanimation, but I am on stock rom. I did change on CM rom and was working, but I have no idea where to edit to point it to start. It is bootanimation.zip. The second "thing" - where do I put my bootanimation sound?. It is mp3 file. Thanks.
