Did you try the flashthisimage I posted? If so, did it work? It should have.
Weird. I just downloaded it and flashed it on my S3 running cm's latest nightly with twrp 2.6.3 and it worked fine.Going to check now

If it didn't work on this one and it didn't work on the one I did for u, u need to make sure ur kernel supports init. Maybe try flashing a kernel that supports it. I'd try freezes thread for one.Going to check now

Here go this thread, you can get the app also at the Play Store it will help you set up your init.d correctly and enable it should your kernel not support it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32716399not sure if the kernel supports init.d @edfunkycold @bigpappags3 .... i flashed an update of the kernel fresh w/ no killjoy... init.d fully intact.. and it didnt boot past the Samsung screen.
Good luckgot the init.d support... got my nandroid... gonna flash when time permits...
