avoid incoming mail to wake kaiser up ?

Each time I receive an incoming mail, my Kaiser wakes up from sleep mode. Is it possible to configure it in order to remain in sleep mode when receiving a mail (in order to save battery) ?

Mail comes trough BBconnect v4 connected to BES server.

Notifications of incoming mails are disabled in windows parameters, but keeps waking up !

Must be a bbconnect thing as direct push and pop emails dont wake the device.

I do not use bbconnect, instead my Tilt uses the integrated Microsoft Activesync and GPRS/EDGE/whatever data connection. It does not seem to be related (directly?) to arriving emails, but my Tilt also wakes up as though I had tapped the screen or tapped the power button, at odd times.

Any suggestions on how to track what causes a screen light-up event?

I also have the same issue as the OP with regards to Blackberry emails waking up the phone.

If someone finds the way to disable it, I would definitely love to know.

same issue here. once i upgraded to the latest ATT rom and BBC it started happening..
