Yes, I mean unlocked carrier. Sometimes carriers only release device with branded fw, easily to unbrand with a fw stock.

Left in my phone 18%-15%= 3%

I've noticed that the screen is more saturated and less green after the update. Yesterday I was lookint at the pictures that I took before the update and I noticed that they look slightly different. Also general UI elements are punchier in color.

Are you sure? Maybe Placebo

Not a placebo, it's definitely visible. And another (not so good) thing that I noticed is when auto brightness is on, and phone enables the outdoor brightness boost, the colors of the screen get too saturated and it increases the contrast very much, the pictures in gallery look much worse outside. Gradients start showing artifacts and get the so called "crush" effect.

That's nothing new, this has been a known thing for the past 10 or so Galaxy Generations and is intended by samsung

I'm familiar of this, and I've been using all those 10 generations of their devices, but since the s10, this wasn't as harsh as it is in this update. It wasn't like that even on s23u before the update.

I can say the S23 ultra is the best phone I've ever had, I've had all of the top models since the S7, this is an absolute beast of a phone, they better never go back to the crappy exynos again, the difference is night and day between them

Apart the poor camera processing is a beast. Love it (with gcam)

hi, were you able to get the phone fixed?

This will only work for non north American devices. You cannot unlock bootloader NA devices.

There is a commercial solution that costs around 70 bucks that fixes this. We aren't allowed to post or advertise on here but I would urge anyone to look deeply and you will find it. you get to use everything but secure folder that way.

There is a very intelligent development that figured out a way to disable this but you will have to factory reset
