Please I cannot download or find either the axon7backup.zip...

I need it because I am bricked and can only get to edl though deep flash usb cable... However axon7tool does not recognize the phone even if Qualcomm appears in USB system administrator..

My last resort is use axon7root.exe -p 3 - r since is COM 3.

Please help I am desesperated, thanks

That's because you'll brick your device if you flash the European zip anyways. Imagine what would happen if you flash a different zip...
Been there. Not worth bricking. Just unlock your bootloader...

I don't think you can fix your device via software if it's in DFU mode. Neither with cables. The only way I found after some research is by disassembling and shorting the test pad.

Is there any way to revert everything back to factory stock? I rooted my device following OP's steps and my bootloader remained locked.

Currently, my A2017G phone has TWRP installed with bootloader locked, I wish to set everything back to factory default.

Hi I just want to use substratum. I updated to the latest axon 7 update last week. DO I have to wait for these files to be released?

When I root the device, will all my data, text, chats stay as is?

1. You can't use substratum with stock ROM.
2. Your device will be as new. So everything is gone after “unlock bootloader“

Substratum works if you have root and if the ROM is compatible with it. And the stock ROM is so midified that it's nowhere near compatible. If you want to use Substratum you'll need to use a custom ROM like RR, Nuclea, or one of those, but not LOS as it lacks the OMS framework (it's barebones)

I am stuck in DFU but I managed to save the stock recovery. Is there anything I can do from here?

For some reason, I can't sideload zip files over 2GB and sdcard flash says "sorry, you can't use sdcard".

Tried flashing a couple of BootStack zip files but got "footer is wrong" every time.

Any suggestions?

Warning virus

Just downloaded the software to flash my replacement Axon 7 before returning my broken one to stock, and my PC is now completely infected. Most likely will have to wipe the hard drive, it's THAT BAD. No anti rootkits work. DO NOT INSTALL.
